Difference between owning a moped and a scooter in Manhattan?
According to the DMV, a scooter is illegal to get into Manhattan, while a moped is legal. What is the difference between an electric scooter with a seat and a moped? If want buy something like that, how do I know if I'll buy a scooter "electric" (illegal) or a "moped" (legal)?
A moped has pedals real, like a bicycle and a scooter does not. A moped can be mounted without the engine, uses a scooter engine at any time.
